Minutes of JLEDC Meeting held Wednesday, May 6, 2009

Special Meeting called to order 7:00 PM

1. Vikki Bauer presented information regarding the establishment of a

Visitor’s Center in downtown June Lake. The specifics of the proposed

project were outlined in the e-mail sent last week.

1. After a significant question and answer period the following motion was made

By Linda Rossier and seconded by Robert Morgan.

“The JLEDC will donate up to $4,000 towards the funding of the June Lake Visitor’s

Center through a cooperative agreement between community and County agencies.”

“We also authorize the JLEDC President, Connie Black to sign a Memorandum of

Understanding regarding this matter.

The motion was approved unanimously by five members of the JLEDC Board Of

Directors.

1. Robert Morgan volunteered to be the JLEDC representative to work with the other

agencies to set objectives for the program, develop a job description, evaluation process

and other necessary administrative tools.

The Special Meeting was adjourned at 8:20 PM
